At Wyone Mental Health, we understand that a good night’s sleep is essential for overall well-being and to establish any sense of a recovery cycle each day.
Our Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i) Treatment Program is designed to help individuals struggling with sleep/wake disorder and sleep difficulties. By addressing the thoughts and behaviors that contribute to insomnia (and other sleep/wake disturbances) our program aims to restore healthy sleep patterns, establish robust sleep hygiene, construct a powerful sleep drive, enhance a daily mindfulness and meditation practice, improve your quality of life, and troubleshoot wake and sleep difficulties that prevent a healthy sleep cycle. In many cases, sleep deprivation has been an internalized and chronic and complex difficulty that has compounded overtime and led to rigid patterns of thoughts and behaviors surrounding sleep. If we understand one thing, it is that.
We can offer this treatment program using CBT-i or BBT-i (Brief Behavioral Treatment for Insomnia) in which can last only four weeks and with complications can last as long as 12 weeks. These treatments are short term and yet are proven by research to stretch long-term due to the long-lasting benefits of appropriately placed skillets and personalized problem solving techniques and preventative practices.
These treatments are sometimes recommended for major sleep/wake disturbances and issues revolving around sleep and anxiety, such as insomnia, sleep-wake difficulties, narcolepsy, hypersomnia, shift work sleep phase disorder whether delayed (trouble falling asleep) or advanced (early wakeup), Non-REM sleep/wake disturbances, night terrors, parasomnias and others.
Feel free to email one of our practitioners to get immediate, educational, evidence-based/brief resources on these treatments at jstotler@wyonemh.com or cstollar@wyonemh.com.

What is CBT for Insomnia?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is a structured, evidence-based approach to treating insomnia and/or other dysfunctions in a healthy relationship/process of sleep. Unlike medication, CBT-I focuses on identifying and changing the thoughts and behaviors that disrupt sleep. This program equips you with practical tools and strategies to promote restful sleep and break the cycle of sleeplessness.
At Wyone Mental Health, our goal is to empower individuals to reclaim their sleep and enhance their quality of life. We strive to create a supportive environment where clients can explore their sleep issues, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve lasting improvements in their sleep health.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy for Insomnia (MBT-i)
Mindfulness-Based Therapy for Insomnia is an evidence-based approach that combines principles of mindfulness meditation with cognitive-behavioral strategies to improve sleep. It helps individuals:
-
Develop awareness of thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations that interfere with sleep.
-
Reduce stress, rumination, and hyperarousal that contribute to insomnia.
-
Establish a consistent sleep routine and healthier bedtime habits.
-
Cultivate acceptance and non-judgmental awareness to decrease anxiety about sleep.
The goal is not only to improve sleep quality and duration but also to foster long-term relaxation skills and resilience against future sleep disturbances.
